"Club Jeunes Entrepreneurs"

Jeunes Entreprises
Club 2000 offers Junior Achievement youth business and education workshops to French schools in the area.

Grade school
This program introduces Business to grade 5 and 6 students. Four 1-hour sessions make up the in-class program where counselor and teacher work as a team.

Phase 1: Students learn business organization.
Phase 2: The class is divided into groups of 4 or 5 and each selects the type of business they will learn to manage (i.e.: hot dog stand, movie theatre, shoe store, etc. )
Phase 3 deals with production.
Phase 4 deals with marketing.

High School
The Student Venture program is designed for students grade 9 to 12. Students, with assistance from their counselor and teacher must manage their own venture. They must first select a name and post job offers for their business. They will need to sell shares in their company to gain funds to start-up. The product they choose must be easy to manufacture, be cost effective to produce and be sold at a competitive price.
